A few new pictures of my Datograph after full service.
Recently got my Datograph back from a full service (including laser treatment for the case) and the watch looks absolutely brand new : well done ALS!
The only thing I did not change was the strap : it is still on my favorite non-OEM ostrich strap!
Oher than that I never saw the watch in as fantastic condition as I had bought it pre-owned in a slightly used condition a few years ago.
Here a few movement shots before the natural tarnishing process of the German silver develops.
The finishing quality amazes me still after all these years.

The watch is amazing - no contest. Your photos as well. I would like to learn people’s techniques. Lighting? Lens? Reflectors? Focus stacking? Any tips you can share?
For the photos you need...
...to control light and reflections. Best is to use a light box which diffuses the light combined with (best adjustable) neutral light sources (6500 k). Then of course the classics of a good camera with a capable macro lens and (very important) a tripod. ...

And that strap indeed works very well with the watch! 👍 Was wondering why you decided to go for case refinishing ... were there major dents or just hairline scratches?
I had a few smaller dents that I wanted to get rid of.
And with laser treatment this can be done without touching the case proportions (like with intense polishing).

I was for sure happy to have it back.
The wait was even shorter than expected and announced (10 weeks).
