It is, but it's been a good constraint to have. Having to stick with one watch per brand, forces me to find what appeals most (to me) out of each brand and evaluate on that criteria. In addition, I get to try a lot different things, get out of my comfort ...
I don't think it'll end here...
When I first started collecting, I got very deep into a particular brand and told my self that I should branch out. Since, I stuck to a one watch per brand (at any one time) rule. As tastes and motivations change, it might be time to stay in a lane again....
