I feel Lange intended to make a robust watch
The original bracelet adds a lot to this goal. I also find the original bracelet layout somehow very fitting to the name of the watch, as if it was an archeological find. I think it is, judging by pictures only, a very nice Lange.

The dial itself seems very Lange to me, some other elements not as much.
Impossible for me to tell without wrist shots. Watches look very different to me when they're being worn...
... and I think I prefer the wider bracelet (though with taller endlinks, to match the height of the lugs, so there's no height differential there).
Now this is much better! I would also make the bezel thinner so less of a scratch magnet
