My "main" AD, who's got Lange aswell told me, that they had only 3 of those on order and all of them for the north American market, None for europe. He wasn't able to Show me one because of that. Not Sure where I should try next. So I can't really answer ...

yes but it is not possible because you would need to fully redesign a chronograph movement...
you can note that on the 5170 the two subdials are slightly below the horizontal diameter Fx

Nico, I dont think so. it is clear under the 9 -3 line. I had a little problems with the 7 degrees of Rolex over this line, because this looks like an error.
I prefer this watch without the date like it is, looks great IMHO.

Dato is great but just too thick for me ( tell , get a TripleSplit and then complain on the size :-) ) ,TBH I love chronos but never use the complication ,i got three in my collection and not really

Personally, I prefer the sub-dial layout just the way it is.
I'm oddly compelled by the sheer eccentricity of the layout, which weirdly feels harmonious when the dial is viewed in its entirety. Judging from the comments thus far, I'm the odd one out though!
