I believe that Wilhelm Schmid expressed in some interviews that it would not be the case since the SS version was designed with a bracelet. Honestly, I think that Lange will change its mind. The customers will want to have the option. The complex bracelet... 

Not because of the white gold (I don't like that), but because of the dial texture/surface and the rubber strap. The grooves on the outer ring somewhat seem to fit better to the day and date windows. So, I'd rather buy the new version than the old one, bu...

Steel case blue dial with their new 2020 model design 60 in red delete AUTOMATIC on the dial blue matching rubber strap According to sales L&S should move on that way. I stay tune. To date, still not a good addition in my collection. My 2 cents

But a rubber strap for the original steel version, when and if available, might definitely help to win more people over to this model😉Cheers.

I liked the steel one as well, but I found the generic looking bracelet borrowed from the Richemont cousins unbearable. I also happen to find the new grey dial a bit more interesting although that is not the key. The bottom line is that this is a strong c... 

And boy did I change my mind. The dial was beautiful in the sun - really picked up the different textures. I also liked the bracelet so much more in person. Very comfortable and looked better on my wrist than I thought it would. I think a rubber strap is ... 

Langes always look very different in person than in the photos, and we haven't seen the latest Odysseus Datomatic in person yet. In addition, none of us knows what the new straps look or feel like in person. I'm looking forward to finding out, just out of... 

For now judging on the picks i would say the white gold version because of the rubber strap .

The design is going through its adolescence it will mature in a few years. Lange has entered a forté that it was not into. Also the the world economic scenario will change bringing about changes once again in watch design keeping in mind the mood.

I never really liked the bracelet design of the steel version. I could really see myself wearing this new version!

While the white gold version is pretty, stainless steel is still my preferred metal for a sports watch.
