Just delivered...

...the watch came out end of 2017, but delivery started just beginning this year. There are 27 of YG, 90 of the red gold and 145 of WG - of course in this order hard to get. Many collectors ordered when announced and get their pieces now.
Collectable? Definitely in terms of rarity and the special complication. If in terms of value, that shouldn‘t be the point!
I’m happy that I got a rose gold one and love it - absolute understatement!!

Hello all, I am currently in Europe and have the opportunity to purchase a new 1815 “Homage to Walter Lange” from an AD. I remember this watch from when it came out and know the story about it but in researching it did not find any on the secondary market...

Collectibility is not an issue

Regular models of this piece are not likely. Whether the value will go up is a different story. This is something that nobody will be able to tell for sure for this model.

Thank you Count

I don’t think there will be any more of these made with some still at the AD’s but it is a very special limited edition for a very special man and complication...Jim

I come from a little different point of view, I love many watches, most every day I see something I would buy that I like so I focus on two things, what I want (love) and value. I know most on this forum don’t have that view but usually value ( or deal or...

Collector or trader

 By: Jurry : June 27th, 2019-12:51
Three options A: you’re a collector, buying the watch to admire it and wear it on special occasions only, then why worry about future value? B: you’re a trader, concerned with future value than you wouldn’t wear it because you want to avoid every risk of ...

Thanks for the laugh and guidance! I am certainly not B because I wear all my watches but do strive to keep them in excellent condition. A does not make sense to me as life, desires and taste changes so how would one know they would be keeping the watch f...

Your arguments make great sense and indeed I was just teasing a bit My thoughts are exactly like yours By the way, your alias “great pilot” does that mean you are a pilot? If so you and I have more in common since I used to be a pilot

Yes I‘m a pilot
