It's an odd looking watch

I saw one a few years ago and I found it odd looking. The functions are simple but the design is exceedingly busy. And Andreas Huber in Munich no longer exists, it was bought by Bucherer and rebranded.

1815 Kalenderwoche

 By: rld : May 16th, 2013-05:17
Recently I came across a reference to the 1815 Kalenderwoche, a limited edition issued in 2006 for the 150th anniversary of Uhren Haber in Munich. I have to admit that I did not recall this interesting model. None of the other Lange fans I spoke to last n...

I cannot tell you the price, but I can tell you that...

.. this is the LE for Huber's 150th Anniversary. And yes, if my memory serves me right, all three metal were 50 pieces LE. It is rare in that Lange even made special movement used only for this model which is so-called "shop LE". Good old days, I guess......

Limited Editions

 By: rld : May 16th, 2013-08:11
Hi Ken, Yes, what struck me is that it was my impression that most, maybe all, of these special editions for a boutique or dealer used existing movements and involved a modified case, such as one with a different metal, blued hands, etc. This was the firs...

Great memory shots Ken!

An interesting piece indeed, albeit a "simple" complication. Best Moritz

I remember very well this watch.

It is for me the most unusual 1815 ever. A bit strange too: it displays the weeks, the day but not the date. It has its interest for the weeks display but I was not a great fan of it, I found the dial too busy without forgetting the pushers on the casesid...

Thanks Rick and others. I added the 1815 Kalenderwoche....

... to the list. I just wish I knew the lug size -- 19mm or 20mm? Also, I THINK the dial on the PT version is silver/argente (same as gold models), not rhodium, but I couldn't confirm that from any trustworthy internet source. The PT dial looks ever so sl...

Prices are all in Euros

That is a message for Craig actually. I could not respond to your pm so it has to "go public": Yes, prices are in Euros. The RG ones price was in October 2006 20.000 Euros and the platinum ones was in January 2007 32.000 Euros. Best Moritz

Dealer LEs - a list?

 By: Moses : May 19th, 2013-04:56
So what is the list of dealer LEs for Lange? This one Sincere rose gold black dial DS, TZ, Perpetual White dials for the Italian market? Pisa Datograph? Walter Lange 1815 Up and Down with hunter case was I believe for a German dealer, or tree was a versio...

Lange Limited Editions with Unique Calibres

 By: rld : May 19th, 2013-19:48
What intrigued me about the 1815 Kalenderwoche is that it has a new calibre (L045.1) not found in any other models. Most limited editions produced for dealers have the same movement as "standard" models and differ with regard to the metal used for the dia...

Some clarification...

"Walter Lange 1815 Up and Down with hunter case was I believe for a German dealer, or tree was a version for such a dealer." The Walter Lange 1815 Up/Down with hunter case was produced in 2006. 50 pieces were made in each gold color (WG, RG, YG). It was n...
