My issue is while I love the watch and its hefty presence, I don’t wear anything the dark blue strap works with, so I end up changing straps often, putting it on tan ostrich or suedes... until I find a proper pt bracelet I suppose

You can dress down the strap—it doesn’t have to be alligator—but rubber doesn’t work for me on the Dato. A basic black calf may work. I think the original charcoal strap with the contrast stitching is still a great, semi-casual look.

I believe the picture was taken from: And the strap can be found at: I also quite like how the datograph looks with this strap and believe it's worth trying it on the zeitwerk, however if you intend to keep it I would be looking for a better clasp.
