Hi Guys, new to this site and recently acquired a Saxonia Automatic Terra Brown. The rotor noise is quite loud and I could distinctly hear it when I move my wrist. Is this normal? Thanks a lot for your advice. Here is a poorly taken photo of the watch. Lo...  

Rotor noise on recent JLC’s is also quite loud.

One is louder than the other due to a sapphire case back. I think JLC made a mistake here is using these noisy ceramic bearings. Noisy, rattling bearings do NOT speak to a precision mechanism, even if the end result is lower wear. Definitely not my prefer... 

If your interest is to look for the root cause... Get your watch to ALS & ask - don’t waste time in comparing different watches, it doesn’t mean anything. If it is an issue, for sure ALS will bring the best solution for you. Wait for our fellow members wh...
