Thanks to the A Lange Soehne AD in Zurich i had the chance to see this interessting piece in person. I strongly like to craftmansship, the dial, the funcionality, the precision and the size. What i tend to not like or not convinced yet is the rather small...  

Was the piece for sale or demo?

I talked to my AD and he said this is a boutique only watch. Curious if it’s available when you came in or you have to join a waitlist?

However, they would write an application letter on your behalf and to apply only once, not from different location. They wanted to know what you already have, being patek, rolex, and so on. Didnt really mater. They wanted to know that youre a serious purc... 

I am asking because Lange had initially said ADs would start receiving Odysseus Datomatic pieces around April 2020. I wonder if this changed. This may vary from region to region, as I see we're in different regions (Philippines vs. US).

I only asked when it came out plus I am not 100% sold to this watch. I just asked out of curiosity if available and was told its a boutique release. I was hunting for other watches

For me though, its the dial that breaks the deal. Not close enough to the competitors in terms of elegance and refinement.

I am liking it more and more everyday. Not enough yet to apply though 😁

Got to see it in real life first. Likes: - the movement; - more practical than a 'normal' ALS; - case size. I'm not so very fond of bleu dials, so I hope a black dial is on offer very soon.
