Interested in opinions vs the black no date or striking time...??? The upside on this is to much to pass on.... feels so warm with great complication, size and power reserve that could be used daily... Always liked the striking time but feel it would get ...

I love the grey dial of the zeitwerk date. But you have to have a wrist for it, it is large and thin and can look like a pancake on smaller wrists ... For me the striking versions are a bit gimmicky and don't add much relative to the basic model.

Or Maybe it's just the red highlights cuz I like the APROO grey ceramic and ghost a lot but then they are sporty. VC Cornes de vache -which I admire a lot too - has quite similar color codes with just a bit blue added. So it cud just be a one-off eerie vi...

I love the black dial striking time. Does not look dated or gimmicky to me. I like how the gongs fill out the empty space that is there on the original. But it is the largest version although doesn't wear as large as dimensions to me. The original is amaz... 

Having worn a white gold Striking Time, I realized the watch was too big and the strap was too small. Thus applying too much watch on a small surface area. Imagine a big heavy 7 seater SUV with tiny brake discs. It's just not comfortable. Wore it for two ... 

I wanted to use a Striking Time as a daily watch. Boy, that watch is difficult to wind! Short power reserve too! Heavy gauge spring material, very painful to wind, they should include a winding key!

I love the crispness -- the stiffness -- of its winding mechanism. If you turn the crown slowly, you can hear every click distinctly and individually. For me it's a treat because it feels so precise and exacting. But yes, it's a big, heavy watch (especial...

But the date version wears much better and ease. Since the caseback is relatively flatter compared to other versions, it distributes the weight quite good. What I heard from several boutiques was that Lange could not supply the Zeitwerk Date for a while d... 

It seems rather dull to me. I had a chance to try it on a year ago. Felt sterile. I like the black striking time if your wrist will accommodate. Full disclosure...I have the black dial Zeitwerk, but it is not swaying my opinion. I was so excited to go try... 

... then I'd opt for the Striking Time because many watches have a date complication but far fewer chime. The date complication is more ordinary, so the Striking Time occupies a more special place in the collecting universe for me. But from your initial p...
