Huge Congratulations ! I own the Lange 1 (second gen) in rose gold since 4 years and absolutely love it. And as of late, I have been poring over pics and reviews of the
very Saxonia which you have. It never appealed to me at first, but somehow does so now. I like the White Gold / Black Dial version you have, as well as the rose gold version.
Wear them both in the best of health, and may they time only the finest moments.

The Saxonia wears thin for an automatic and the date window is so cohesive and symmetrical.

Very nice combo. The Saxonia has been on my radar for some time. How do you find the legibility? When I have looked at Langes with hands in white metal and dark (black) dial, I have often found the legibility to be an issue. But that can be very different...

Legibility is probably not the best with these watches but if you are looking for refinement & excellent workmanship you will not be disappointed. I personally have no issues with reading the time.

I prefer the L1 as the movement takes up the whole periphery of the exhibition case back. The Saxonnia is beautiful too.
