Dear All, Have read the comprehensive review by on the Odysseus WG. Just wondering any fellow purists have acquired this beauty and share their view from owner’s perspective? I have tried it in Boutique and found the grey dial and grey background day-dat...

Funny I’ve been wondering the same as I was considering this version as a possible addition

I saw a member here with the steel version on an orange trap and I thought it was really nice and I started to think whether this white gold version could be put on a normal strap between the logs as opposed to the special one I personally actually think ...

Thanks for your sharing your thought, yacomino. In my hometown, this WG Odysseus practically only available in Boutique, with 2-3 months waiting time after placing deposits.

Using normal strap is certainly more orthodox looking. The special strap + end link, however can help maintain the strap in line with the lugs.

I think I would have to try it in the flesh I guess

Before I placed the order last month. The dial is indeed very attractive and I had concern over its thickness and size. But as you said it seemed manageable and I kinda got used to the weight on the wrist. Also the dial and finishing kinda won me over and...

Thanks for your reply, Tlph. Congrats to being an owner to be of this rare bird

Agree that the grey dial is very beautiful and the sporty design with 120meter water resistance is also one of the major reasons for me to consider it. However, I am still a bit concerned on the size/ thickness and couldn't make up my mind to pull the tri...

Thank you Henry.

I will post more when it arrives. Another triggering point for the purchase was that I found out we can engrave two letters on the balance cock of the movement. As I have soft spot for this kind of personalised/customised experience naturally I made the d...

Thanks, Tlph. The personalised engraving on movement is quite unexpected. Probably I should ask for it as well, when sending my zeitwerk back to Glashütte for service.

Ha ha..... our desire is unlimited, certainly still prefer to have more companion to my 5712 and 5740..... but I guess that's quite unlikely from my existing connection. I have a preference towards time piece that's water resistant. My another target will...

Hahahah! Very well said. Sadly I have yet to start my Patek

Tried it on with the leather strap a couple weeks ago and ordered it. My AD told me Lange ask her if I owned other Langes before they accepted my order. They also told her, maybe the only San Francisco Lange dealer, they would get 2 total next year.
