Gorgeous

I love this watch! Came close a number of times to picking it up, but ultimately passed for something else, and keep regretting it each time. I suppose that means that I’ll have to get it eventually!

Anyway, gorgeous watch, enjoy it!!

Simplicity at its best - I love how it can be dressy as well as casual! At 39mm this is my smallest watch but i like how it wears on the wrist ... ...

Congratulations..

...and sad as well for A.L&S claws are very powerful! Once you're hooked, there's no point resisting! Jokes aside, a wonderful pick up, man. Enjoy thoroughly! My Grande Lange 1 from a late Spring 2020 with matching today's date says hi.. ...

Thanks Ivan! Your Lange 1 is superb as well!

The watch will always stop at 60, if pr has run out

A small detail but for tech people a highlight of this watch!👌

It was a message for Fab: Patek people tend to overlook Langes 😃

I would not assume that you did not know about it!

Lol - both amazing brand!

Aesthetically one of the best looking white metall watch

By: COUNT DE MONET : December 18th, 2020-12:06
Technically unparalleled in its league. A second gen. 1815 in WG is what I would love to own, very badly. Congrats to this superb, superb Lange!

Thank you dear Count de Monet!

Congratulations on your first ALS...👍

Congrats. A wonderful Lange you have there. I think you will quickly get used to 39mm.

It's a nice size--modern and comfortable.

Congratulations on a beautiful piece!

Welcome to the ALS-family! But there's a "risk" you get hooked on ALS - many are and I admit to be one of them! ☺️

Thanks hmd4m - much appreciated

Yes so true! There is one more before a mandatory pause on the collection (mandatory paused ordered by the wallet - lol).

However I was really wanting the have a ALS and a Panerai in the collection for so long...both different but both with such character! I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to add them even if I had to sell a few other toys to fund them! I sold quite a few w...

Congratulations, the size of the UP/DOWN looks good on your wrist in shot 2

39 is pefect favorite humble size. Lange is addictive brand. Enjoy the new relapse-filled path. 😉 There are arguably more gorgeous watches, but personally I always feel Lange is the most majestic, at most if not all the time.

Thanks oyster case!

These 39mm look absolutely

 By: MTR : December 18th, 2020-17:00
perfect on your wrist. And - at least from your wrist shots - the watch looks larger. A wonderful Lange for sure with remarkable inner values. You seem to be upgrading your collection very impressively. 😊 Best Thomas

This is a very elegant watch...anything over 40mm would be a mistake no matter how big the wearer is imho...

 By: mdg : December 18th, 2020-17:21
...On that note, was watching a movie from 1952 starring Robert Mitchum. His watch was maybe 30-32mm...it was tiny.

Thanks Thomas. You are right I have been upgrading the collection in 2020...

I decided that over the past four years I flipped too many watches simply because I was often compromising on the piece I really wanted so I decided to press the reset button and go for the watches that really fuelled my passion instead. I guess the good ...

My pleasure. 😊

Your journey is really interesting for me. Because I have made the same development the last two years. I have departed from all my “lukewarm” watches and got hold of watches I really love and which make me very very happy every time I wear them. So I - l...

So true. In my case I also need to be careful not the buy the “wrong” watch! In the last year process I think I love almost every move I made...

But I have still made mistakes in terms of selecting watch I thought I would love...I still have 1 or 2 watch I am not sure in my collection but I guess this normal! One move that took me by surprise this year was to get two Rolex OP 41mm with colourful d...

My humble experience (lessons learned).

 By: MTR : December 19th, 2020-04:24
I've learned a lot over the past few years. Especially that I just buy watches when I am 100% (not 99%!!) passionate about this model. If it's not 100% for my heart, I pass. All acquisitions where I had to persuade myself “intellectually” to buy a certain...

Good approach Thomas. All the one I consider keepers would qualify for your 100% statement!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 19th, 2020-04:55
I still have two that are below 99% so will see about those!

Perfect.

 By: MTR : December 19th, 2020-07:15
Sell your 99% watches in order to - at least - partially fund your next grail. Or to refill your empty watch wallet. Hahahahaha

Yeah that will be the plan...HAGWE

Looking good my friend...

I like the dial layout....this one and the 1815 are in my “maybe” list, which is quite long😂. Enjoy!

What a beauty! Congratulations!

Nice Up/down

 By: Cookies : December 19th, 2020-15:07
It is one of the cleanest looking watches out there, with a beautiful movement and nice heft to it. This was my favourite piece, along with the Terrabrown Saxonnia, when I visited the boutique in Sydney. Sadly, I could not get it yet, as there are much co...

We have similar taste

 By: Cookies : December 19th, 2020-15:31
I think. Cool! What other pieces are you eyeing next season? My wishlist next year would be: 1) The ALS Saxonnia in white gold 2) A simple Rolex OP 32mm as a gift to my sister =D that’s all I guess.

Funny you ask I was just lurking on ALS website...

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 19th, 2020-15:56
Saxon is moon phase is RG with black dial; Richard Lang boutique edition in WG 1815 RG annual calendar Also like the 1815 Richard long anniversary in WG which my AD has one of the 145 or so sample, but I choked! Not sure which one I will get next...

All the candies one can have!

 By: Cookies : December 19th, 2020-16:02
My my, ALS is tantalizing.

Which dial color do you plan to get on the OP 32mm?

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 19th, 2020-16:05

Would need a dark colour

 By: Cookies : December 19th, 2020-17:02
Dark blue will be perfect, or a black. Which colour do you like?

HUGE CONGRATS my friend!
