If you could only choose one…

Which Lange would it be? I feel like I’m missing a Lange from my current collection.

Don’t have one yet!

But that wasn’t a condition of the question. Datograph , rose gold, white face Perfect watch, IMO

These days, a Darth.

It was back before they really started cutting corners and it's an extremely versatile watch that really embodies the Lange brand. It's an icon and for good reason. The second choice would be a second generation 1815 chrono. The subdude dial, as I know, I...

I love the Darth as well

+1

I feel it was a slow decline but...

The single most pronounced shift was with the launch of the caliber L121.1 in 2015. On another watch forum, a long time ago, the Lange moderator suddenly "quit". He was well connected with the brand and key players at ALS. I'm certain you know Uncle Ed In...

Ah, good question

I’d pick the Tribute to Walter Lange piece, which has the zero reset pusher.

I felt exactly like you. My collection lacked a Lange. So after much deliberation I chose the 1815 Chronograph Boutique Edition.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. It’s my favorite chronograph. I’m so impressed with the quality, precision, beauty and wrist presence that I’ve been contemplating the addition of another Lange. I would love to add a Richard Lange Pour le Mérite...

Original 403 Pt. Datograph if you can handle its thickness and it’s short power reserve

I love it and don’t have a choice at the moment as it’s my only Lange.

This one...

Enamel dial!

Zeitwerk for sure

I’ve already made this decision

While I also have a soft spot for the 1815 up down, the only Lange in my current collection… ...

Exactly!

You said it.

Take great care of it!

Although my only Lange is the 1815 Auf / Ab. I would advise the Lange 1

 By: Boris : September 21st, 2021-03:04
It is as iconic as it comes from this brand. More specifically, I would go for the moonphase version, with its clever day / night function. It is beautifully executed and integrated in the Lange 1, and makes this very serious model a bit more playful.

There is another purist who is trying to convince me

That the Zeitwerk is the one to get. He makes compelling arguments

Would love to hear about the time you wore your ZW into the Patek Boutique. When I wore my 403 Pt Dato the rep with me did not even acknowledge it.

 By: Darron : September 25th, 2021-15:12
🤦‍♂️… perhaps he was too busy telling me how “embarrassed” he was as there was nothing in he store to sell me….except a 5320G

Quite the contrary! They had plenty of time. I walked in to view their pieces. First rep saw the ZW and was so excited. They called over another rep and they both were fawning over it.

 By: Obeezy : September 25th, 2021-17:56
They eventually asked me if they could see it more closely. Once I removed it and they saw the movement, it was game over. They were in such awe. In summary, they spent more time on my ZW than showing me their pieces.

I agree!!!

For sure 😉👍
