Definitely didn’t miss this grail. I love it. I’m guessing but I think there is perhaps a frustration

With a lack of availability, more limited editions, offending collectors of previous limited edition iterations, and distribution strategies in general. I can speak for myself and find it frustrating that there are AD’s in my country but no boutiques and even if there was a boutique could I get the new pt Rattrapante? A simple Richard Lange time only, which is one of my all time favourite watches, is now a boutique exclusive. So in short maybe it was a silent protest, or a mega post is  forthcoming.  I was hoping for a non limited version. That aside, I think Lange’s distribution is in a state of change and it may be temporarily disruptive. My thoughts.

Beautiful piece though for sure. Best,

It's just a metal variation, but it really does change the look of the watch. My preference is still for the black face honey gold version though... watchesbysjx.com SJX ...

Such a nice watch. I had dinner with the higher ups at Lange last week...

Had dinner with Lange Management last week. At that dinner this watch was naturally mentioned. All I could say is WOW, what a nice watch. And the long-term plan and vision of Lange is in good hands.

Looks handsome! An inverse panda dial version ...

with matte black dial and white sub dials would be interesting ...

I too prefer the black dial version

The dial on the platinum version looks too cold not to mention, platinum will be too heavy to wear for a Lange. I await for the a black dial, rose gold or white gold version.

I think the watch business...

...is definitely in a state of flux right now. The rise of boutiques replacing ADs is just the beginning. Add to that a stock market in chaos and record inflation; it makes for 'interesting' times...
