... seriously consider asking them to replace your front crystal (and also your back one, if you want) with antireflective-coated crystals. It doesn't look like your crystal is AR-coated. You may love the watch even more if you do that!

I suppose it is fitting, given the watch's name. Celebrating four years of us! 2 boys, a renovated house, and a couple startups have me ready to slow down and enjoy things a touch more. This evening, its a few holes of golf, a quick dip, and dinner on the...

Great watch, just don't like the strap. ;)

What a life!

You are absolutely right! I love to change the character of a dress watch into a more sporty appearance.

Just three weeks ago I bought myself a new Hodinkee strap for my Langematik Perpetual in platinum: ...

Oh phenomenal

What a pairing... give that thing a thread of its own already (if you've not). That strap just brings it all out in a magnetic way

Agreed agreed. I see it as this svelte combo that pulls in all these different directions, but then rebalances in a new unique way

The 37mm - a touch on the small size for what I usually where (usually more like 39), but then the Pt adds this solid Lange heft, then the enamel - this crisp chatoyance, then the cleanest dial layout - this stately classic presence, then the red 12 - a p...

Impressive accomplishments!

The marriage, the kids, the renovation, and the start ups. The watch doesn't even begin to compare!

Lol. Agreed - it was actually previously getting little rotation. I had it on a Lange-clone bracelet (which is a fun look - inspired by Eric Ku), as well as a variety of the usual gator straps

But given that these combos (and its size) take it in a formal direction, and I have less formal occasions in this particular era, it was usually losing out to others with a little more presence when the occasion hit... The gray suede lets me use it in a ...

Fascinating - tell me more

I do like the washed out reflections the front crystal picks up, and how it mutes out the numerals, plays with the blue hands, interacts with the enamel, but maybe I'm missing something. Is lange going AR on all of its more recent pieces? I know Laurent F...

Thank you. Definitely a different vibe than where I had it. Will see how it settles in after a few occasions. Thats always the test...

It may turn out to be too casual, but I do think the crispness and design of this particular suede does round in the right direction if it is going to be pulled off
