Very nice and wears it in good health.
On a side note, do you find the watch top heavy due to the platinum case? The reason I asking this is because I am contemplating to get one.

Grail arrived! I am Speechless!

The best thing about this watch is the story behind it... I befriended a fellow Purist and he introduced me to one of his friends who was thinking of selling. The WPS community is the best!!! ...

Congratulations! Timeless masterpiece, certainly worthy of being a personal grail.

When the Datograph was released at Basel, Thierry Stern kept walking by the Lange booth and looking at the movement. I guess he couldn't believe that a German company could make such a watch

Thanks Bek2 [nt]

It was the black polish that pulled me to this model

I really wanted the dato (more than other langes) for its intricate movement and finishing

Wow, bro, CONGRATS

Looks fantastic on you and I’m glad you chose this first series over the up/down

Thanks Brandon! Really considered the

Up/down as I love PR indicators. I still will consider if I have the opportunity. The Roman numerals is a nice difference. The sub dials are an off white which has nice vintage feel

Personally I think your hunt is over

The first series is more comfortable and the romans nicely fill the dial. I was super excited with then up/down version first arrived but over time I realized just how much better the first series was. This is not to say I wouldn’t love to have either pie...

Thanks FabR!! [nt]

Thats a beautiful and amazing ALS . A true icon imho

Many congratulations. An icon. And it looks just right on your wrist.

I predict endless hours of staring at that movement. I can’t count the times I was sitting at my desk or somewhere and I’d just take the Dato off to stare at the movement.

Thanks Jay... besides the potential of scratching the lugs

I would be swapping the strap all the time to wear movement up all the time!

The original Dato, the best imho

Huge congrats to you, you got yourself THE best 👍👏👏👏 If only it was comfortable on my wrist I could have kept mine but my small wrist could not match/adapt, what a sad decision I had to take to let it go. Fortunately a good friend of mine could get it and...

Hi... thanks to my dandy food grade scale

 By: Darron : August 30th, 2020-09:52
The Pt Dato weighs in at 145 grams with pt buckle. A couple of comments: size and weight are all relative, so it matters what you are used to. Also i think it matters if i happen to be between holes on the strap. I am guessing that if the strap/bracelet i...

Huge congratulations!!

You got an absolute stunner - the patina in the movement is gorgeous
