A truly great watch
I feel similarly about Lange's W&W offerings this year. Interesting sure, but nothing so far that's making my jump out of my seat. A titanium Odysseus is neat, but this watch is pure classic Lange. Enjoy in good health!

Very nice! The 40mm 1815 White gold with blued hands is my favorite piece that Lange makes!
I didn't even dream about the Honey Gold variant!

Why do you prefer the 40mm to the 38.5mm? Most ppl prefer sub 40 for a classic dress watch..
Just personal preference. I like the 40 since it works well proportionately for the thickness.
German watches being a bit thicker. It's just proportions of case and dial layout, I just like the 40mm version more in my eyes. The Vacheron Constantin 82172 is 38mm and only 7.7mm thick and that's perfect too. That's also a great timepiece!

The VC is very nice.. but I much prefer the 1815.. Anyways I agree somehow I find the 40mm more pleasing compared to the 38.. I put it squarely on the fact that the bezel was made thinner, the dial was made relatively larger by removing the outer rim wher...

That wasn’t so long ago.
Cars sound interesting. Although the problem over watches is storage and maintenance! I do feel I will lighten the watch load at some point in the next year or two and replace with something on four wheels.
My dealer just sent me this that I am seriously contemplating.
If I stop buying watches I have more funds for these little things ...

What I was saying in my reply to Bill is that my inspiration to get this watch was driven by another post here several years ago which really highlighted the beautiful dial on this one. After seeing that I was sucked in !
