On 25 and 26 September, A. Lange & Söhne celebrated the re-opening of its refurbished ION Orchard boutique after a three-month renovation with A. Lange & Söhne’s new global boutique concept, which reflects the brand’s Saxon roots in a modern and cohesive manner. Materials used in the boutique range from utilitarian steel to natural stone, reminiscent of the hues of the Ore Mountains in Saxony, where the manufactory is based.
Wilhelm Schmid, CEO of A. Lange & Söhne’s CEO, flew in from Germany for the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony with Anne Schaal,Managing Director of A. Lange & Söhne Southeast Asia & Australia and Yeo Mui Hong, CEO of Orchard Turn Development.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the LANGE 1, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON “25th Anniversary” was also launched at the event. Another superb treat was, for the first time, all ten anniversary pieces were seen collectively in one place!
In addition, six artists were invited to collaborate with A. Lange & Söhne to create artworks that were inspired by the brand’s most iconic timepiece as well as the brand’s other watch families such as the ZEITWERK.
