Enjoy yours, while mine is hidden in the bank vault. The rose gold case with black dial is a very appealing combination, the blued second hand against the silver subdial is the cherry on the cake. Not to forget the unique floral engraving. Mine says hi

A beautiful dial, but even more beautiful movement. The caliber L944.1 carries a completely hand-engraved 3/4 plate. The floral pattern takes its inspiration from the Meissen Porcelain ’s Strew Roses created in 1815. This reference was produced as a limit...

wow amazing 👏 congratulations for this amazing piece

Nice to see it again.

Sidestep movement is one of Lange’s most beautiful!

I wish they had decorated the 1815 Moonphase (same era) like this. A dream!

Another german marvel.

Thanks for sharing. Killer engravings on the 3/4 plate! - Kevin

I can’t believe you’re posting the sidestep now . . .

. . . because just yesterday I was thinking about the most gorgeous watches ever made, and the sidestep was at the top of the list. Synchronicity . . .

Never seen this one...

What a beauty Dare ask where I might find one?

Only preowned at this point...

The Sidestep was made for Wempe c.2003-4. 50 in PT (222.049) and 75 in RG (222.048). This was back in the day when Lange would make bespoke movements for dealers: The Sidestep movement was never used in any other Lange watch (Lange also did this with the ...

It is a mystery, isn't it? Unappreciated when released, . . .

I saw your reply in my "Unanswered Responses"....

... and thought you were replying to my comment about the vintage Longines watch!! Then, when I clicked on it, it took me here! Could've been either one.

LOL!! . . .

. . . yeah, the vintage Longines is sweet, but the Lange literally defines 'elegance'. Not that I'm actively searching for one, but should an opportunity arise for a rose gold sidestep, I'd be game! Art

Wow. A beauty!
