Rare bird: the Lange 1 "Floral"
This very special Lange 1 ref. 112.046, was made by A. Lange & Söhne in 2007 for the Japanese market as part of a limited edition of 25 sets, each one comprising a Lange 1 and a Little Lange 1, ref. 111.046.
The rose gold case size is 38.5 mm and the solid case back is hand-engraved with the Glashütte coat of arms, including the sundial and twin hammers, all framed by a deep hand-hammered finish.
The dial, made of solid gold, is also hand-engraved, but with a floral pattern similar to the base motif used on the A. Lange & Söhne balance cocks since 1994. The sub-dials are decorated with concentric circles contrasting against the floral engravings, and are framed with thin golden borders.
The watch is powered by calibre LS1224EM.
