Seeing the texture shown in your wonderful macro pic immediately led my mind to a recent bathroom ceiling patch whose texture I spent way too long trying to match, to avoid having to repaint the whole ceiling. ...
This one, as Dimardi says below, has some nice features.
The honey gold case is the star, but the dial texture (and colour, which doesn’t really show on these pictures) and the steps on the dial make it a little more interesting as you look closer.

It wasn’t until someone posted a closer up picture of the dial here on WPS that I really paid any attention to this one.
