Wanted to post earlier but was traveling all week and spent the past 2 days at the GrΓΆnefeld atelier with 2 fantastic members of our community (Mahesh and Ron).
We had an incredible time with the horological brothers and I would like to thank them again for their generous hospitality and time.
Mahesh posted the GTG in the "horological meandering" forum if anyone wants to take a look.
Now for this incoming which was unexpected. Aren't those the best ones? ππ€£
Long story short, got it on a trade with a fellow collector friend with a piece I had multiples of and did not wear. Worked out great for both of us although I did get another piece as well π
I had said it many times that I usually prefer white metal over colored metal but lately I have found that certain rose gold pieces with certain dials still works really well for me and I have become more open to them. This one with the salmon / rose gold dial really blends nicely and I like the red highlights which make it stand out and be more sporty.
Of course I paired it with one of my bespoke straps and I think it gives it a cool contrast.
Being a chronograph guy and having an almost fetish with manual wind chronographs, it was only a matter of time before a Centigraphe found it's way to me. I am happy to say that day has come.
For anyone looking to add a Centigraphe, I can only say good things. π
