The UTC never became a popular FPJ watch. Some people complain that the globe disk is too difficult to read. My personal objection was that the bright colors of the globe did not bled well with the rest of the dial. However, I feel that issue has disappeared with this new blue dial. Especially on the Pt version, I think it works well. Chances of ever seing one of these in the wild are slim as only 10 pieces of each metal will be manufatured. If anyone here encounter one of these blue dials, please post live pictures as I would love to see and hear more.
What do you think? An improvement or do you prefer the original?
Original grey dial

I liked the Platinum with blue face enough that I committed to buying one - but they were all spoken for, even before the official press release!
Never quite like it

I hope there would be new FPJ travel watches though!

The UTC just isn't grabbing me enough to pull the trigger. It's just not in my "Top 10" next FP Journe watches to buy, even with this blue dial and the fact it's the last chance to grab one. I like the blue dial, just don't love the watch enough!
I agree that this appears to be the best version

I also could not get comfortable with bright colors against the grey background on the other versions. As far as Journes go, the resonance would be my preferred travel watch.
