Few months ago I bought the Cartier Santos Dumont ultra slim winding with Fredric Piguet movement ...after few months it is back from Cartier as new ...
They have done a superb job ...worth the wait ! old picture before restoration for your ref ...

I love these early Dumonts and been wanting one to own for ages. It really is worth it sending them to Cartier for servicing. I have nothing but positive experiences in their service centres. Yes, it will cost a lot of money but the joy you get is pricele...

I passed on a platumim one about 15 years ago and have regretted ever since. They are impossible to find in any metal!
