Cartier Pasha de Cartier Tourbillon CPCP from 2001 ( ref. 2542, series of X/20)

I had the opportunity to try this on at the Fifth Ave. boutique in 2002, and it has been on my grail list every since. It was very, very stealthy, and was slim enough to have slipped easily beneath my shirtsleeve. Originally listed for about $140k USD; prices at auction have come down nicely, but now seem to have bottomed out. I still hope to acquire one in the next year or two.

I got mine at a Phillips auction at less than 50%of the list price so it is rather comforting. It sits very nicely on the wrist Best Sam
