Apart from the very long strap, I really like it.  It hugs the wrist really well and the shape is very "cute" turtle/cushion shape.  The movement is the 8L35 a very high grade Seiko movement and is a workhorse. The dial is matt black with lumibrite on the indexes and hands.  What do Seiko enthusiasts think?  Would welcome your input.

Old originals may be more original, but don't always please a new-gen owner

who wants trouble-free operation and ability to have warranty, easy service and access to parts. Speaking as one who has a drawer full of old watches no longer practical to repair or wear. Sadly. Cazalea

Just do it ...

I decided that it was just too similar to the Seiko (PADI) turtle I already owned. I do have the SLA 017 (which I love and) which is also a reissue but there is nothing really like it in the catalog, or previously produced since the original 62MAS.

There is a lot to love about the SLA 017

I thought that the new Willard might be too large. I have an SKX (the yellow one) as well as an SLA 017 which is a fantastic daily wearer.

Hello watchlover

Remember, always buy what moves you, what you like, what you love, what you see in the future wearing with joy. Other than that, wait for the right piece. I would say you can buy it and try how do you feel, since these re-editions, I think there is always...

Thank you! 🙏🏼 [nt]
