A simple tale with a surprising ending...

 

Years ago I purchased a Wako Limited Edition Grand Sekio (9S55-00B0) and since summer is very hot and humid I planned to pick up a SS bracelet... it turns out that was not to be... my version has been replaced and the new model takes a 20mm bracelet where as the previous model was 19mm... mmmm.  Nothing in stock, no plans to make more... out of luck.

Okay, plan "B", buy a deployant clasp... six months to one year wait with no guarantee.  My sales contact has two customers already on the waiting list since September 2018, taking that as a positive sign of time already passed I placed an ordered.

and now the twist... it turns out we (my sales contact and I) have a mutual friend... so Plan "C" is to have a small GTG and drink a little sake... my suggestion is 刈穂 ・純米大吟醸酒 (Kariho ・Junmai Daiginjo sake) from Akita... I happen to have a bottle at home ; )

What could be better.
