Dear Purists,
Wondering if I can get some opinions going. I have always had a thing for Hublots and have owned a number of them over the years. Original Big Bang (44), Unico (45), etc. I currently own a red Orlinski and just found myself picking this all-black Integral up.
Perhaps to my surprise, what I found over the last few days wearing it, is that it’s kind of an “un-Hublot” Hublot. At 42 mm, and with the integrated bracelet, feels surprisingly understated. And I think I struggle with what I always enjoyed about Hublot - the loud almost obnoxious nature, which however, has its appeal. As “sophisticated” as this piece feels, it’s almost anticlimactic to what Hublot normally delivers on.
So I’m kind of reevaluating. Should I keep or let go. As many of you know, there’s always a balance in the collection of fun, serious, valuable, etc. In my recent years, I found myself wanting to have very curated pieces that stand on their own. And so I was hoping to get some opinions about this very piece. What would you do?
Many thanks and for those of us in the US, Happy 4th!

Hublot is big, loud and massive for me with a great presence on arm! Hublot is with strap for me and not with bacelet, like by Panerai! I didn’t buy the Hublot Big Bang Integrale for me because it could be anything, any watch, a Zenith or any other watch....
I actually rather like this piece...

But if you are asking the question, that means you're not smitten about the piece, and that you should probably let it go.
This 100%!

It looks great on your wrist! But… I want more flare and pop, so would opt for one of the colored versions. ...
I personally find the 42mm perfect

for my wrist (which is 16,5 to 17cm). I am a big fan of Panerais and wear them in the 47mm case size. But interestingly the Hublot 42mm doesn’t appear much smaller on my wrist. But it’s all a question of taste and preferences. My humble opinion is: just t...
