What is your Hublot of the year 2018?

Dear Friends,
the year 2018 is coming to an end and so it's time to look back. I always do that with a view of my small collection of watches, where I am a bit focussed on Hublot.

My favorite Hublot of the year 2018 is definitely the Big Bang Ferrari in King Gold.

Why? Well, I did not have this version of the new Big Bang Ferrari on the screen at all. Actually, I (as a passionate Magic Gold fan) ordered this watch in Hublot's scratch-resistant gold.
This watch, I thought, fits in perfectly with my small collection and especially with its predecessor, the Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold, which I like to wear too.

But then, one day I saw the version of this watch in King Gold in the window of the Hublot boutique in Berlin ...

Unlike the Magic Gold version, this one has differently finished surfaces. Blasted, satin coated and polished. That makes the watch looking more interesting than the just polished Magic Gold one.
I love this watch and I'm happy to have chosen it for my collection.

It's just fascinating to just watch this watch. There are so many details ...

And it's finally a flyback chronograph.

I am also a fan of the Magic Gold, but the warmth of this one is very nice indeed! For me, it was a Zenith kinda year... I almost pushed the button on the Sapphire tourbillon but then don't wear my black sapphire much... maybe it will be this year or some...
