the tastes of most courses were good, just that many were made into puree and it felt like eating baby food at times 🙄

Yes, Latin American food does have a lot of puree textures sometimes. Mashed plantains, mashed sweet potatoes, etc. So that makes sense. You now have me thinking about Peruvian chicken!
