just about accessible,lots of blackcurrant on the nose evolving into dark fruits,with a mid to full bodied palate of red cherries ,an enjoyable mouthful,and a hint of maraschino.

Unfortunately, not much complexity yet but firm yet well integrated unobtrusive tannins,long finish.

Years to go with potential of developing into a gem.Glad i still have half a case to discover

Had a few friends over for dinner with roast chicken etc.The wine paired surprisingly well with the food

Yes,covid has that unfortunate effect of depriving us from a good time of having guests over for dinner.Hopefully that will change

1982, 1990 and 1998 were all great. I also liked 1985 but more in St Emilion
