I like the restraint of the dial design, but now the tachy bezel seems busy or dated...I think that should have also been `sterilized` in some way. More modern font maybe, less hashes or
smaller digits. I dont think it is a good match. But i am happy for you so enjoy it !! My favorite is the cbe2118 , also a 2 register with date.
Fixed Bezel; It's All for Decoration
Yes, some people question the ridges / grips on a fixed (non-rotating) bezel, but to my eye, it's all about style. People never (or very rarely) use the Tachymeter bezel at all, so it is also more of a decoration. My best guess -- this is the style bezel ...
