Just for the pleasure of sharing this recent catch: Heuer ref 510.543 "A.M.I." ...

... This watch was issued to Aeronautica Militare Italiana around 1985.

The dial looks very attractive to me, specially for the charming creamy indexes, orange seconds hand and tip of minutes accumulator hand, and the touch of red of the "3H" marking denoting the use of Tritum lume against the black background.

Inside there is a 17J movement based in Lemania 5100 automatic caliber.

Regrettably this watch lost its original steel bracelet during its adventurous previous career so I installed these "sail cloth" straps to it which I find very comfortable and adding some military look th the watch.

Hope you like it friends!
Cheers! Abel

A new target acquired, dear Abel, congratulations. The patina on the indexes looks excellent and your choice of strap works well. Enjoy !

I feel so dear Captain! Some time to search, patience and good luck [nt]

You can't make a modern watch with this kind of charm. Love it.
