My second Tudor, and my second blue dialed Tudor

I owned the blue Pelagos several years ago, and while on paper it should have been a pretty perfect watch for me I never really warmed to it. Ultimately I passed it on to someone else about a year or so later and after limited wrist time.
The BB58 when it was released seemed to also tick a lot of boxes. As some of you will recall we even canvassed hard here to see if we might have been able to have Tudor produce a forum BB58. Because of this I initially held off on getting the original BB58 and then more recently when one came up I passed as the timing wasn’t right.
Fast forward to this summer when this second iteration of the BB58 took a big (and well coordinated) social media and influencer splash. I liked it, it is a very different watch than the original BB58 and both could easily fit in a collection.
After the initial feeding frenzy and FOMO died down I decided to pick one up. A couple of months wearing it now and I’m pretty content. It was basically made for my wrist, a great size. I’m a fan of the faux vintage bracelet (thin is good for me, I like the older Rolex Oysters, I really like the Nautilus bracelet) and the choice of dial and bezel colour give the watch a contemporary feel.
In short I don’t think this one will be sold off like the Pelagos and I imagine it being a good travel / easy wearing companion.
