Sylvester Stallone ordered 20 pieces of
the 207/A, he wanted them rapidly (for if I remember correctly his birthday party),
Panerai in Firenze arranged to rapidly deliver the first 10 pieces together
with other pieces (201A & 205A). On arrival/delivery Stallone was disappointed by the
207/A dial, he did not like it, especially when he could compare them to the
other pieces. The 10 x 207/A (blue dial) pieces returned back to Panerai
in Firenze.
A new dial was drawn in accordance to the actor’s
requirements. From way back, I
remember to be told at Panerai in Firenze that they re-utilised 3 of the returned
blue 207/A 10 pieces to complete the 20 new dialled 207/A pieces ordered by S.
Stallone. Needless to say that the
final and complete order (207/A 20 pieces) was delivered post the party
date 'ouch'!

So hurry up before knowledge travel around the globe, you now know which to look for.
I have learn to entirely ignore all rumours,
even if certified that they could be more than 7 x 207/A bleu dial, 7 x 207A blue dial pieces is what I was told way back and before the end of Panerai Sistemi spa, and this is what I too believe.
About the rest or others, I understand how it can be, it
is because initially the production of the 207/A was specified and approved for
production to ‘Valgine’ (Frères Guenat) with a blue dial and blue hands, due to actor's rejection a new dial was produced for all 207/A units, but the blue dials had been produced already, this explains
the many left over discarded blue dials and matching blue hands, may be up to 95 sets.
At the time I did not count how many, but I saw a box full of it (1998)
