The PAM002 Pre-A was manufactured by "them Swiss" BUT (and it's a huge but, for me at least) with all ORIGINAL Italian "stock" components. Pre-V case and Pre-V dial, Pre-V indices etc. Easy to understand why the 002 it's one of my favourite PAMs.

My favorite!
The Pre-A dial is so clean, so reduced to those iconic early fat numbers. This really may be my favorite sapphire PAM! My 002A salutes your beauty! ...

Gorgeous. I'm always amazed at how different the Pre-A and Pre-V's are on the wrist from the outwardly similar modern versions. Maybe it's all psychological but I don't think so. Kent
No Ormil is a strap manufacturer....
....much like Brelli, which was also a supplier of straps to the Officine Panerai, in the Pre-V period. Both, Brelli and Ormil are still very much active these days, in the manufacturing of watch straps.
