Taken in Morocco some 12 years ago: 




That is one of these watches I miss a lot, with my beloved Pre Vendome Logo. That pair was very alluring. 

But we cannot rewrite History, alas. 

At least I still have some fond memories about that watch.

All the tortoises I've met were fairly well tempered! Although I haven't met many! And the sea turtles in the Maldives are mostly well tempered, probably a little cautious not to get too close to me.

What they really need to guard these watches are...

In English we differentiate between turtle and tortoise. In French I believe they're all "tortue." I've always liked tortoises. Especially ones with great taste in watches!
