Up the hills towards Hollywood. I think the famous sign would have been on the other side by that radio tower. Both photos taken from Mulholland Drive.
We drove down into Los Angeles on Laurel Canyon Boulevard-which while beautiful, makes Lombard Street in SF look like a piker.
