Interesting to see that the are bringing high and complex tech (foil) on such a long, enduring and demanding race. They are really pushing the limits! Best, E.

So now I'm following the ladies. Isabelle is racing competitively. Sam has an old boat and is toughing it out. Clarisse...wow, never seem somebody so upbeat in every single video dispatch. What a race. So much respect for all the competitors.

As the leaders pass Nemo Point and head toward a weekend at Cape Horn I heard in an update that it's so remote in that part of the world that the closest individuals are on the International Space Station... it's a tight packed group and anyone could take...

Regarding the time spent rescuing Kevin Escoffier (PRB), and after evaluating the impact on their race, the Vendée Globe international jury awarded Boris Herrmann (currently in 2nd place) 6 hours of compensation, Yannick Bestaven (currently in 5th place) ...
