Should I buy this (inexpensive) 1972 - Omega f300hz - 198.001 – Gold Capped 'Hummer', please? I know nothing about the reference or its desirability.

If you like it buy it. It’s just a matter of your personal choice
Is it a Bulova accutron kind of Omega?
