Waiting for my 9am..
Jul 09, 2019,17:43 PM
One of those preliminary client calls where nobody knows what they really want. Could be a long morning.
At any rate, the mood can only be matched by something that is probably my most underwhelming watch. Nobody notices it. Not even myself hahaha! The only time it got attention was from a fellow enthusiast who had the trilogy. Having said that, well, that’s the trade off for something retro elegant I suppose. The long lugs and the arrow hands make for some sort of subtle presence and wears a mm or two bigger than the actual 38mm when worn with the bracelet. It’s a wallflower of a watch just like how I will be later
Best, Echi

To paraphrase a saying. This watch is a WIS' watch or more correctly for this forum, it's a Purists' watch.
This is not a status symbol.

It is not a watch you wear to show off. It's an unpretentious watch that you wear if you enjoy restraint, quality and well integrated design.

I usually wear it when I’m meeting a client. I like how it’s all that you mentioned but manages to keep quiet about it
Me too!

. . . packed? Design classic and beautiful, yet subtle? Pedigreed, too? It sounds like we're talking about . . . . . . Grace Kelly. ...
A beauty!
