A few shots of a favorite of mine.

This is the cushion case, neo-vintage Girard-Perregaux 2498

.

38 mm.

Guiloche sun-burst web pattern dial. When looked at closely, the dial takes on a 3-dimensional perspective.

A balanced and radiant dial, with black, silver and hints of red. Railroad track sunken and turned sub-dials add to contrast and clarity. Big hand centra seconds Dupuis-Deprez Chronograph. Syringe hands are well lumed and clean.

288 pieces ever made of this silver dial.

Released circa in 2001. Neo-vintage.

It has strong wrist presence, especially when worn with the steel bracelet. With a leather strap, it takes on a more elegant and classy look.

These are highly sought after by collectors as they don’t come up that often. A check on c24 over the last several months has yielded nada. Especially rare with the bracelet.

The 38 mm case and the curved lugs make the fit on the wrist very comfortable. Even for smaller wrists.

Horizontal and vertical satin finishing and high polish finishing gives it a bit of bling factor … especially with the bracelet.

A joy to have on. Versatile, it works just as well with jeans or a tuxedo(especially with the black and silver dial).

Have a good weekend ahead ☀️
