Laureato finishing quality?

Hello GP fans,

I have a question I hope you fine folks could answer. I started collecting watches, with a particular affinity towards sports models, took the usual route Nautilus Aquanaut Royal Oak the Offshore and now waiting on my  Overseas tourbillon to be delivered in a month, my next step was to get a Lange Odysseus, move on to an RO ceramic openworked, and finally decide on a Laureato to round things out. Unofrtunately it seems the Lange and ceramic RO are not going to happen for a couple of years due to demand, Lange wont even take my order (shame on them) and the AP demand is just silly.

So here is my question, how does the finishing on the steel GP stack up to the usual suspects? I cant find enough info online and pictures are dificult to judge, also how does GP's handling of ceramic stack up? I am concerned it is more Rado than AP from what I have seen online. Don't mean to compare GP to AP as I am sure we have all had enough of that, and I am aware the Laureato has its own history and character, but the attraction to the ceramic AP for me is in the way they where able to finish ceramic material to make it a truly luxurious product, compared to what what other brands such as Chanel and Rado have done making it look overly shiny and cheap.

As I cant find it here in the metal in KSA or Bahrain in either Ceramic or Steel I will have to decide based on online reviews, your comments, and my gut instinct before ordering one.

Much obliged for your time and thoughts.

...though the bracelet bevels are not as grandly as the pictures suggest. That obviously doesn’t diminish the quality per se, it makes it cheaper in appearance.

A friend of mine has the laureato skeleton in ceramic and I can tell you it’s amazing and super light

I'm in love with the GP Laureate Skeleton in steel! I wear it daily. The quality is definitely on the same level as AP; the lume is great; the legibility is great; the movement isn't too busy and it's a joy. To be honest, I wouldn't change anything about ...
