Likely my last watch purchase of 2020

I’ve been eyeing the Girard Perregaux Vintage 1945 for some time, and decided to pull the trigger after seeing some recent comments on this site This is the rose gold, big date, moonphase version, with an automatic in-house movement. The case is a fairly large (32mm x 48 mm) curved rectangle which sits comfortably on the wrist
I haven’t seen anyone else wearing this watch. After several days of use, I’ve found this model exactly what I expected - a classy, polished and differentiated dress watch, decent accuracy but not the best choice if you worry about dings, bangs and scratches as the shape and size make it a rather vulnerable piece
