In 2012, Girard Perregaux unveiled this marvel, associating the strong look of the Laureato case to the refinement of a Tourbillon, with a special feature, spinel bridges... All of that for a superb and bewitching result.

Spinel has been very rarely used in horology. Which is sad, as I find this gemstone very beautiful.
I would well see it associated to a tantalum case...
