Salut Nicolas, what is Julie's and your opinion about the ease of getting the movement serviced?

The reason I ask is that I am considering to buy a 4940 for myself but I would like to avoid any unpleasant surprises when I getting a 15-20 year old watch with an A. Schild base caliber serviced. I don't have any experience with calibers by that company and I am not even sure whether they are around anymore or by which other movement maker thay have been absorbed. I think it might be ETA (which is not an "issue" for me) but then again I have no idea about what kind of magic GP has performed on the movement in order to turn it into its own caliber 2291.

Merci bien 😀

Here it is, in its " bed " of corks. And in all its beauty. Thanks to my business partner Julie to have let me play with it for some days. It is a very nice version, with its applied hours markers. And an original one, as the automatic movement feeds the ...

A very nice and uncommon GP. To my eyes it looks very wearable for most any occasion. Well done. M4

Hi Nicolas, I was under the impression that one had to wind the second lower crown for the alarm to get its power and not the main crown. So, the power comes from a second mainspring and not the automatic mainspring ....? This version is a nice one. Any i...

Of the 4940 Traveller 2, 38 mm with full black with Breguet numbers … Just chanced upon this video today. I’ve started to lose count on the variations of the 4940 Traveller 2. Also quite easy to confuse them with the Traveller 2, 40 mm. Ref 4935. I’ll st...

The Traveller II is a time traveler as well, it seems.

It came here from 180 years in the future. And landed on my corks. Which landed in Paris just weeks before! 😎
