Today, let's go back to THE original Laureato. The very first from 1975 in steel with blue Clous-de-Paris dial. 35mm diameter but great presence on the wrist. Very thin but Quartz movement, it was cutting edge at that time! I particularly like the Bracele...

Both in regards of the Laureato and for the Quartz movements! The standard GP set with these Quartz movements is still in use by many brands today! Best Blomman

G-P played important role in first days of quartz. If not mistaken "their frequency" became officially accepted in quartz watches. Very cool time capsule with excellent dial. Cheers D

I have of course made peace with the Quartz movement in the first Laureato as you rightly pointed out how important and cutting edge it was at that time. Collectible? Very! Nostalgic feelings that it does not have a mechanical movement? Yeah, still there ...
Great Watch, desperately looking for replacement part (inductor)

Had sent my watch to GP for repair, but unfortunately they have no more spare parts. The inductor is broken. Any suggestions for help are welcome. Have received my GP 4266 about 40 years ago as a gift. A beautiful watch, very accurate and reliable.
