My first Chopard…
May 07, 2021,20:14 PM
I know you might not believe it but miracles do happen.
When I first read about this Jubilee QF on Apr 2nd on #watchcollectinglifestyle, I clicked the link to brand website trying to read more about the watch and pricing…watch not there yet.
.
Few days into the W&W, more blogs talked about Chopard’s new releases but still no info on the brand’s website.
.
Later that Sat ~7:30am, woke up as usual to read blogs, the link to the brand’s website shows this watch, and the option to “Add to cart”.
.
I was surprised but quickly added it, put in my credit card, info and order was confirmed, got an email…I was like, really!?!?
.
I refresh again on the site and the watch show “Upon Request”…wow, I’m that lucky, got the last one?!?!
.
The following Monday, a nice lady @beckyverasilvin called and we spoke about this order. She was also surprised because all the 25 pieces should only be allocated to Boutique/AD, not online.
.
Upon hearing this, I expressed my deep interest in watch collecting and hope this will happen but she need to confirm the allocation and will get back to me in 2 days.
.
The 2 days was long…but then the call came, along with a nice gentleman @__mmatt__ , who confirmed my allocation….I was overjoyed.
.
I am very, very grateful to Chopard team for embracing me with open arms with this special piece. I think with most brands nowadays, you probably will expect the brand to say, “Sorry but this was an error, these pieces were all sold out, blah blah, we’ll refund you”
.
Sorry for the long story but I felt the need to share this nice brand experience.
.
Thank you Chopard 🙏🏻
Many collectors don’t like boxes but I love such elegant and exquisite wooden boxes, nicely decorated and made
